Green Law Office PLLC ("the Firm," "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through jamesgreenlaw.com, by phone, email and text message, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, mailing address, and what you tell us about your legal matter when you contact us, fill out a form, or become a client.
- Basic website data: browser type, pages visited and similar technical information collected automatically by our website host.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry, check for conflicts of interest, and decide whether we can represent you.
- To represent clients: to communicate about their matters, schedule appointments and court dates, send documents, and bill for services.
- To run and improve our website.
Attorney-client confidentiality
Information you share about a legal matter is handled under the confidentiality obligations that apply to lawyers. Contacting us does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. Please don't send confidential details until we've confirmed we can help you.
How we share it
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- with service providers that help us run the firm (for example our practice-management, email, phone and payment providers), who may use it only to provide services to us;
- when required by law, court order, or professional rules; or
- with your permission.
Text messaging (SMS)
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
- If you agree to receive text messages from us, we use your mobile number only to communicate about your inquiry or your matter: appointment and court-date reminders, requests for information, and case updates.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help, or call (502) 234-1056.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet or by text is completely secure.
